This project involved the construction of the 138/25 kV Hull modular substation, complete with transformer, control building, buswork, transmission line interconnection, and a telecommunications tower.
CANA High Voltage (CHV) was involved in the design of the substation including fencing, ground grid, grading, piling, MV cabling and telecommunications. CHV coordinated with subcontractors to install the modular skids and worked with Fortis Alberta to complete the AMI design. CHV also designed the 138 kV in/out transmission lines. Once in construction, CHV was responsible for the site preparation and installation of pre-fabricated skids including the control building and transformer skids. CHV also commissioned the control building.
